Custom Data Request ID/Name: TC_Energy_05_2025
Purpose of Request
TC Energy will use the species data for the sole purpose of implementing its ITP and MSHCP for various operations and maintenance activities as well as project activities that it performs across its system in the covered lands of the MSHCP. Implementation of the ITP/MSHCP requires access to sensitive species data to determine the applicability of species-specific avoidance and minimization measures prescribed by the MSHCP. The species data will also be used by TC Energy to determine mitigation requirements owed for species included in its ITP. It will not be used to disclose or publish the exact locations of known sensitive species.
Scope of Request:
TC Energy requires sensitive spatial data in order to effectively implement its ITP and MSHCP. As it has been a number of years since the species data has been updated, TC Energy is requesting species data from these states to be able to effectively implement TC Energy's ITP and MSHCP. The licensed data provided to TC Energy under this License Agreement includes G1/T1, G2-T2, or federally listed endangered or threatened species (Eos) that intersect the covered lands of the Multi-Species Habitat Conservation Plan (MSHCP) (provided as a shapefile from TC Energy) located in the following states: DE, IN, KY, LA, MD, MS, NJ, NY, NC, OH, PA, TN, VA, and WV (“Licensed Dataset”).
Mode and Date of Delivery:
A Geodatabase will be delivered in May 2025.
