Purpose of Request
This dataset will be used for the purpose of High Consequence Area Spill Modeling as directed by PHMSA (pipeline Hazardous Material Safety Administration) according to pipeline regulation parts §195.452 and §195.6 Unusually Sensitive Areas.
Scope of Request:
The data provided to Holly Energy includes Element Occurrence (EO) records for at-risk species* in selected counties ** where Licensee pipelines are located (CO, IA, ID, KS, MT, NE, NM, NV, OK, TX, UT, WA, WY) Lists of species by county or watershed where Licensee pipelines are located will also be included.
*At-risk plants and animals include: taxa with status under the U.S. Endangered Species Act; taxa ranked by NatureServe as being critically imperiled or imperiled on a range-wide basis (G1, G2, G3, T1, T2, or T3); and/or taxa with a Subnational Rank of S1 or S2.
