Organization/Individual Requesting Data: Colonial Pipeline is the largest refined products pipeline in the United States. For more than 60 years, Colonial Pipeline has safely and responsibly transported energy to serve American communities, commerce, air travelers, and military installations. Colonial is America’s largest refined products pipeline, delivering more than 100 million gallons of fuel daily to customers on a system stretching from Houston to the New York Harbor.
Purpose: Colonial is requesting precise data that will be used internally only to evaluate and assess potential impacts from operations and activities as a petroleum products transportation pipeline company.
Scope of Data: EO data for species and communities ranked G1/T1-G3/T3 or with a federal status in the following states: Alabama, Delaware, Georgia, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.
Mode of Delivery: The Licensed Dataset will be provided to Colonial Pipelines in a file geodatabase.
Data Users: Data Users must complete NatureServe’s Data Use Training and review their organization’s Data License Agreement terms.
